HISTORY

โรงเรียน Cardiff Sixth Form College  หรือ CSFC เป็นโรงเรียนมัธยมเอกชนคุณภาพเยี่ยม ด้วยประสบการณ์การเรียนการสอนเริ่มมาตั้งแต่ปี 2004  ด้วยวิธีการสอนรูปแบบพิเศษ ห้องเรียนขนาดเล็ก และการดูแลทั่วถึงในนักเรียนแต่ละคน ทำให้โรงเรียนมีชื่อเสียง และได้รับการยอมรับและการแนะนำต่อ ๆ กันเรื่อยมา 

โรงเรียน CSFC  เปิดสอนหลักสูตรในหลักสูตร A Level 2 ปี, GCSE 1 ปี และ GCSE 2 ปี ในเดือน September ของทุก ๆ ปี โดยเริ่มเปิดรับนักเรียนต่างชาติ ตั้งแต่ปี 2009 และได้รับความนิยมเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ เหมาะสำหรับน้องๆที่สนใจเรียนต่อในระดับมัธยมในอังกฤษ  ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนกว่า 40 ประเทศมาเรียน ซึ่งรวมถึงนักเรียนจากใน UK เองก็ให้ความสนใจเข้าเรียนที่ CSFC  เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมและมุ่งมั่นสอบเข้าเรียนต่อในมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำในระดับ Top University ใน UK  ทั้งนี้โรงเรียน CSFC เริ่มเปิดรับนักเรียนแบบ Full boarding ในปี 2011 และทางโรงเรียนได้รับการจัดอันดับ ให้เป็นโรงเรียนที่มีผลการเรียนระดับ Top Academic School ใน UK มาอย่างต่อเนื่องถึง 11 ปี 

เมื่อปี 2017 ที่ผ่านมา ทางโรงเรียน ได้เข้าไปรวมอยู่ในกลุ่มของ Dukes Education เพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพของโรงเรียนในด้านต่างๆ และต่อมาในปี 2022 ทางโรงเรียนก็ได้ขยายเพิ่มแคมปัส ไปในเมือง Cambridge เพื่อรองรับจำนวนนักเรียนที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นจากนักเรียนต่างชาติจากทั่วทุกมุมโลกนั่นเอง

โรงเรียน CSFC  มีด้วยกัน 2 แคมปัส โดยแคมปัสแรกจะตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Cardiff และต่อมาได้ขยายแคมปัส เพิ่มขึ้นที่เมือง Cambridge สำหรับการเรียนการสอน ในระดับ A Level และได้เริ่มเปิดสอนตั้งแต่เดือน September ปี 2022 เป็นต้นมา

          *Min age is 14 years old (14-15 years old)

         – 2 year course / September start
         – Study 10 subjects over the two year period 
         – Four-year pathway to top universities
         – Up to 11 subjects, super-curricular programme, study skills, work placement, careers societies, university guidance and a wide range of extra-curricular activities including sport, music, art, drama and clubs, societies and events. academic purposes, critical thinking, leadership and teamwork.
         – Full range of extra-curricular activities
         – New GCSE boarding accommodation wing
         – Entry test ( English and Maths ) + CAT4 online assessment.
         – English requirement : IELTS 5.0

🚩1 Year GCSE (1 year course)

          *Min Age is 15 years old (15-16 years old)

        – Students take 6 to 9 subjects ( September intake only)
        – English requirement :  IELTS 5.5
        – GCSE subjects : Art & Design, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages: French or German, Physics and Physical Education

🚩A Level (Two year course)

         *Min age is 16 years old

        – (September intake) : With 4 subjects.
        – (August Intake) : When students need more prep
        – English requirement :  IELTS 6.5
        – Teacher:Student ratio is 1:7
        – Cardiff A Level subjects : Art, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English Literature, Extended Project Qualification, French, Further Mathematics, German, Geography, Government and Politics, History, Maths, Physics and Psychology
        – Cambridge A Level subjects : Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Further Mathematics, Maths, Physics and Psychology

นักเรียนของโรงเรียน CSFC  ที่สามารถได้เข้าเรียนที่ Oxford และ Cambridge สมหวังดังใจหมาย ได้รับการดูแลโค้ชชิ่ง ด้วยคอร์สเสริม OXBRIDGE SUCCESS อย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนได้เตรียมความพร้อมด้านต่าง ๆ เช่น ฝึกฝนในเรื่องของข้อสอบเข้า การเตรียมตัวสัมภาษณ์ รวมถึงคลาสการเตรียมคำถามคำตอบในด้าน Critical thinking และด้วยการส่งเสริมจาก Dukes Education ทางนักเรียนของ CSFC จะได้คำแนะนำต่าง ๆ จากนักเรียน Oxbridge ศิษย์ปัจจุบันมาถ่ายทอดความรู้ต่างๆ จากประสบการณ์ตรงให้กับน้อง ๆ อีกด้วย

สำหรับน้องที่ต้องการขอทุนส่วนลดค่าเรียน จะต้องทำการสมัครตอนที่ลงทะเบียนเรียน ซึ่งทุนมีมูลค่าสูงสุดถึง 50% ของค่าเรียน (ไม่รวมค่า Boarding) ขึ้นอยู่กับผลการสอบขอทุน ซึ่งจะต้องสอบขอทุน 4 อย่าง คือ วิชาที่จะเรียนใน A Level, interview, online reasoning test and school reports
