University of Roehampton ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1841 มีประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานกว่า 180 ปี ผ่าน 4 วิทยาลัย  ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาประมาณ 10,000 คน จาก 145 ประเทศ โดยศึกษาในระดับสูงกว่าปริญญาตรี 1,800 คน

University of Roehampton London มี Parkland campus ขนาด 54 เอเคอร์ ตั้งอยู่ใจกลางย่าน South-West London ใกล้กับ Putney, Hammersmith และ Shepherd’s Bush ที่อยู่ในเครือข่ายรถไฟใต้ดิน   ทางมหาวิทยาลัยมีบริการรถบัสฟรีไปยัง Barnes Station ทำให้เดินทางโดยรถไฟไปยัง Waterloo สู่ใจกลางลอนดอนได้ง่าย
