 Rossall School 

Rossall School เป็นโรงเรียนเอกชนชั้นนำในประเทศอังกฤษ ที่รับนักเรียนชายและหญิง ทั้งนักเรียนภาคปกติและนักเรียนประจำ ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ.2387 (ค.ศ.1844) ตั้งอยู่ที่ชายฝั่งแลนคาเชียร์ (Lancashire) ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากสนามบิน Manchester เพียงหนึ่งชั่วโมงกว่า

โรงเรียนมีจำนวนนักเรียนเกือบ 700 คน โดยรับนักเรียนอายุตั้งแต่ 2 – 18 ปี (รับนักเรียนประจำอายุ 7 – 18 ปี) นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาวอังกฤษและมีนักเรียนต่างชาติมากกว่า 70 ประเทศทั่วโลก (สัดส่วนนักเรียนต่างชาติประมาณ 30% : นักเรียนอังกฤษ 70%) นักเรียนเหล่านี้เลือกโรงเรียน Rossall เพื่อเป้าหมายที่จะเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำอันดับต้น ๆ ทั้งในสหราชอาณาจักร ยุโรป และอเมริกาเหนือ

Rossall School มีขนาดกว่า 160 เอเคอร์ (400 ไร่) มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกมากมาย อาคารเรียนมีทั้งที่เป็นอาคารเก่าแก่คล้ายกับที่วิทยาลัย Oxford และ Cambridge กับอาคารสมัยใหม่  นักเรียนสามารถใช้สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ เพื่อการศึกษาและสันทนาการ และยังมีสนามกีฬาที่กว้างขวางที่ติดชายทะเลอีกด้วย

นักเรียนต่างชาติทุกคนจะอาศัยอยู่ในหอพักร่วมกับนักเรียนชาวอังกฤษ ที่มีทั้งหมด 7 หอพัก ซึ่งจะช่วยให้นักเรียนได้พบปะเพื่อน ๆ และเข้าสังคมกับนักเรียนชาวอังกฤษที่เป็นเจ้าของภาษาอีกด้วย สำหรับห้องเรียนที่ Rossall นั้นมีขนาดเล็ก (จำนวนนักเรียนต่อห้องไม่เกิน 16 คน) เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าคุณครูจะสามารถให้ความสนใจกับนักเรียนแต่ละคนได้อย่างทั่วถึง ทางโรงเรียนมีคุณครูผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิที่ทุ่มเทและมีประสบการณ์ จึงมั่นใจได้ว่านักเรียนทุกคนจะสามารถใช้ศักยภาพของตนเองได้อย่างเต็มที่

Rossall มีระดับหลักสูตรแบ่งตามอายุดังนี้

• Pre-Prep School รับนักเรียนอายุ 4 – 7 ปี
• Prep School รับนักเรียนอายุ 7 – 11 ปี (Year 3 – 6)
• Senior School รับนักเรียนอายุ 11 – 16 ปี (Year 7 – 11)
• Sixth Form รับนักเรียนอายุ 16 – 18 ปี (Year 12 – 13)

นักเรียนอายุ 7 – 11 ปี จะเรียนตาม British National Curriculum    นักเรียนอายุ 16 ปี จะสอบ GCSE และ IGCSE   หลังจากนั้นสามารถเลือกหลักสูตรเรียนต่อในระดับ Sixth form

ในปี 2026 มีนักเรียนที่สามารถสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย Top ได้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Cambridge, Imperial College London, Manchester, Warwick, Durham, Edinburgh, York, Leeds, UCL, King’s College London, Loughborough, Sheffield, Queen’s Belfast and countless other Top20/Russell Group universities  และมีผลการเรียนที่ดี

• Across all qualifications, just under half of all grades awarded to Rossall students this summer were A* or A

• 70% of A-Level / BTEC grades were A* – B

• 43% of A-Level / BTEC grades were A* or A

• In terms of UCAS points, over 60% of the Upper Sixth Form cohort at Rossall have come away from their examinations with the equivalent of AAB (at A Level) or above.

• อายุ 14-15 ปี – GCSE integrated programme with English support
  British Curriculum Key Stage : 4 (Year 10)
  Start Dates : September, January, April
• อายุ 15-16 ปี – Pre-Sixth Form programme
  (English level : B2, Complete the 2-year GCSE course in 5 or 6 subjects in just 1-year)  
  Subjects : Biology, Maths, First Language English, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, DT, Art and Games (Sports)
  British Curriculum Key Stage : 4
  Start Dates : September
• อายุ 15-16 ปี – Pre-Sixth Form Foundation programme
  (English level : B1 or lower, English development, 1-year programme)
  Subjects : EAL (English as an Additional Language), Biology, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Business and Art, Games (Sports) and PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education)

• อายุ 15-16 ปี – Mainstream Year 11

  (Gain a taste of Rossall life for 2-8 weeks during summer months, With 20 hours of English learning a week followed by activities and with trips)

• อายุ 9-17 ปี – Short term programmes
  (Learn half a term during the final term of the school year only, Get a feel for Rossall life during the summer months whilst British pupils are on campus)
