มหาวิทยาลัย Bath Spa ( Bath Spa University ) มีชื่อเดิมว่า “Bath School of Art” ก่อตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1852 มีประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานกว่า 163 ปี เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำที่มีชื่อเสียงเป็นอย่างมาก Bath Spa University มีความโดดเด่นทั้งทางด้านความคิดสร้างสรรค์ ศิลปกรรม และการศึกษาแขนงต่างๆซึ่งได้มีการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนเรื่อยมา ต่อมาได้รับสถานะเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเป็น Bath Spa University ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2005 เป็นต้นมา
เรียนต่ออังกฤษที่ Bath Spa Universityนั้น‏ มีนักเรียนหลากหลายประเทศเลือกมาเรียนต่ออังกฤษ ที่มหาวิทยาลัย Bath Spa นี้จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 7,533 คน และจากรายงาน NSS 2014 มีรายงาน Student Satisfaction ซึ่งนักเรียนให้ความพึงพอใจสูงถึง 89% เป็นการยืนยันการดูแลนักเรียนที่มาเรียนต่ออังกฤษณมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนี้

แคมปัส Sion Hill ของ Bath Spa University นี้ เป็นแคมปัสหลักของการเรีนการสอนด้าน Art and Design ตั้งอยู่ด้าน residential Lansdown district ของเมืองบาร์ธ ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งที่มีชื่อเสียงด้าน architecture โดยอยู่ไม่ไกลจากร้านค้าในเมือง

แคมปัส Corsham Court ของ Bath Spa University เป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนการสอนเรียนต่ออังกฤษของนักเรียนปริญญาโท ซึ่งรวมทั้งนักเรียนปริญญาโทด้านการทำวิจัยอีกด้วย
